Thanks for telling us about your interest in casino chip collecting. Even in USA, it is not a well known hobby, so we're used to being considered a bit "odd".
Your English is fine. Much better than my French, which is only a few words & phrases.
I have some Canadian chips & jetons, though that area of my collection is mostly dormant in recent years.
It appears that Canadian casinos are mostly smaller, local operations, with the exception of a few large ones in Ontario, like those in Windsor and at Niagara Falls. Correct?
What are the favorite casino games -- Slot machines, plus Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, occasionally Baccarat? Or is the mix of games more like European casinos -- more Roulette and Baccarat; less Craps and Blackjack?
Your First Nation casinos operate similar to ours in USA, I assume.
How are other casinos licensed? By the province or by the local (city) government? Or is it just another commercial business? I assume they pay some sort of extra tax for the privilege of operating?
So ... nice to see your post today. I've seen them before, plus some of your contributions to the ChipGuide as well.
(Sorry for so many questions!)
