I love the Milwaukee Road sign. That was one of my first jobs getting out of college. I worked at the locomotive repair shops in downtown Milwaukee for 8 years. Talk about a place that never threw anything away - we had letters in our filing cabinets that went back to the 1880's. Shortly after I was laid off they closed the whole facility and threw most of it in the dumpster. We had 8" X 10" negatives of every car and locomotive ever owned (or built) by the railroad. I sure hope they ended up in a museum somewhere instead of the dumpster.
