Interesting service.
I use Collector Assistant to document my collection. CA software does the job but there are issues. It only runs on Windows. It's very much designed for coin collecting and has tons of features that are only relevant to coins. There are a few key things that it cannot do. Finally, at least to me, the GUI is extremely non-intuitive. However it does do the basic job and their customer service is fantastic. My output is approximately 200 PDF pages with images of 20 chips per page.
There must be collecting software that's more appropriate for a chip collection that runs on a Mac. You would probably need a custom entry page with appropriate fields (denomination, color, mold, TCR #, etc.) I have put hundreds of hours inputting my data especially scanning both sides of each chip so my needs are limited.
1) Have you got such software in mind along with a simple user's manual?
2) Can you take my CA database and transfer it to the new software?
