I remember having see this chip before - well, a scan of it - and copied down what was said about it onto my Nevada chips list (that is, a chip I "want to collect" if found). Whether Billy Siebler or someone else, the attribution seemed accurate but I have no way of verifying that. Somebody in Yerington might know? Then again, not a lot of people remember back to the 1950's to positively identify a chip! (Excepting us fanatics!) I suppose it is also possible that the NS chip could have been used in BOTH Las Vegas and Yerington, at different times, but it's sure a stretch to believe the chips traveled so far. Why, I once tried to roll a chip on its rim from Las Vegas down the highway - didn't even make it to Goldfield.
I kinda thought my "source" for the Yerington attribution was a post on the ChipBoard maybe a year back - if not there, a conversation at a Convention or Chip Show - I have no other real way of getting such information.
Sorry to throw in the Monkey Wrench (Monkey Chip?) - but the discrepancy ought to be resolved, if possible!
