They started making their own in 1975.
Burt Co made chips for them on both the CJ and regular H&C molds. They handed those molds over to Paul-Son so there was no overlap as far as I know.
Burt Co made chips with and without the concave inserts. With the exception of some shapes being owned by a specific casino, that was just a choice by the customer.
