As most know by now, I have been listing my left over chips from my Nevada Casino Chips inventory from when I retired in 2016 & chips from my personal collection for about the last two years on . I am doing so, because I have no one in my family who has an interest in chips. So it is better that I sell them instead. Saves them the hassle & they would rather have money than chips. 😆 I am in no real rush. I have a lot of chips & list them when I feel like it. I am also enjoying it...For the most part! But every once in a while a person comes along & decides they NEED to tell me I am listing chips that will never sell, I graded them wrong & so on. 😖
Just recently I had someone tell me a chip was not the grade I gave it. Told me...”you’re better than that.” I won’t say who it was, or what chip. Keep in mind they told me this AFTER they bid on the chip! Plus they are hoping to win it.
I am Life Member 2471-52 of the club & have been a member for going on 24 years now. I think I have a fairly good reputation. Plus I have been on for 22 years now.
Even though there is a guide to grading casino chips, it can still be subjective. Also, some times photos do not do a chip justice. I go out of my way to grade fairly & price accordingly. I have done so for 24 years now.
So, if you don’t like a price I list a chip at, or don’t think that it’s graded the way YOU would grade it, then very simply, don’t bid on my auctions. 😊 I have no problem with anyone asking a legitimate question. But I have a problem when you think you can lecture me on how I should do my business. Ok, rant over.
