I have a question for anyone who collects WA state Indian chips.

Tulalip has two somewhat similar chips CG013488 and CG168406. The former is marked as Dk. Red with 4 white inserts, the latter as Rose with 4 lt.tan inserts.

Ignoring the chip color, dark red v rose since that was somewhat subjective on the part of the poster, are these really the same chip? Were the inserts always light tan (some lighter than others)? Did a truly white insert chip really exist?

I have four of these that I now have cataloged as CG168406 because of the tan insert color but I've had three for a long time and previously had them cataloged as CG013488 since the newer one hadn't been posted when I got them.

Any help would be appreciated.
