I went to Pala on Sunday and am reporting that they have permanently closed their poker room.

Back in the day, Pala had the nicest poker poker room and best tournaments in all of San Diego County.

The past 10 years have seen a sad and steady decline of their poker room.

I once played in a deepstack tournament there with Mike ‘The Mouth’ Matusow, and even bluffed him off a hand when he was talking to his mom on his cellphone.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see more local poker rooms being permanently closed in the near future..
