SOME PEOPLE HAVE COMPULSIONS TO GAMBLE, SOME TO AMASS FORTUNES AND OTHER’S, WELL THEY JUST LIKE TO WRITE STORIES. YEAH, THAT WOULD BE ME. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED TO WRITE, NEVER WAS VERY GOOD AT IT; BUT I HAVE DONE IT OVER THE YEARS JUST THE SAME.
IF ANY OF YOU WANT ANY INSIDE INFORMATION ON ANY CASINO THAT I’VE BEEN TO, I WOULD BE HAPPY TO TELL YOU WHAT I KNOW.
REGGIE
GRAY WOLF PEAK CASINO IS SITUATED NEAR FLATHEAD LAKE, WITH A BEAUTIFUL PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE MISSION MOUNTAINS. GRAY WOLF PEAK CASINO USES AN ADDRESS AS MISSOULA, MT. WHEREAS, IT IS ACTUALLY AN INDIAN TOWN CALLED EVARO, MT.
NANCY AND I VISITED THIS PART OF IF THE GRAY WOLF PEAK CASINO FIRST. THIS IS WHERE WE LEARNED THE SHORT HISTORY OF THE CASINO. WALKING INTO THE EVARO CASINO WE WERE SHOWN AROUND BY AN INDIAN ATTENDANT AT THE SNACK BAR. SHE SHOWED US WHERE THE GAMING TABLES ONCE SAT, AND HOW THEY WERE ABLE TO MOVE MORE MACHINES IN THEIR PLACE. AND AFTER BUYING A VERY COOL T-SHIRT FROM HER, SHE GAVE US DIRECTIONS TO THE NEWER KWATAQNUK LOCATION IN POLSON, MT.
KWATAQNUK CASINO WAS A BEST WESTERN MOTEL CONVERTED INTO A CASINO. IT ALSO SERVED AS A MARINA, SO YOU DOCK YOUR BOAT, PARTY, GAMBLE ALL AT THE SAME LOCATION, VERY COOL. I DO NOT KNOW HOW LONG THE GRAY WOLF PEAK INDIANS HAD THEIR “MAIN CASINO” IN THIS LOCATION, I HAVE HEARD THAT IT IS BACK IN IT’S ORIGINAL LOCATION AT EVARO, GAMBLING TABLES AND ALL.
WHEN NANCY AND I WALKED IN TO THIS (BEST WESTERN) LOCATION IT WAS AN EXTREMLY BEAUTIFUL LODGE TYPE BUILDING. THERE WERE THREE LEVELS OF SLOTS, ONE POKER TABLE (NOT OPEN) AND A COUPLE OF BLACK JACK TABLES. VERY QUICKLY I GOT INFORMATION FROM A CHANGE GIRL WHO WAS WELL INFORMED, TOLD ME THEY HAD CHIPS IN THE CAGE, AND THEY COULD SELL THEM. THEN SHE SNAGGED THE CASINO MANAGER, HE HELPED OUT AND I GRABBED AS MANY OF THE $1 & $5 GRAND OPENING CHIPS AND SUPPLEMENTED MY SUPPLY OF THE HOUSE CHIPS. I GOT EVERY THING I NEEDED EXCEPT THE ELUSIVE 25c CHIP. AND THEN WE HEADED TOWARDS GLACIER NATIONAL PARK…REGGIE
