~~~ trying to told that the loss of 100,000 lives (just in the US) isn't all that bad since people die from all sorts of causes; such as 125,000 last year by OD and suicide... and hearing that from someone in the medical field is sad, especially since neither OD or suicide is contagious as is Covid-19.

If a mask will stop someon's mucus or saliva from landing on me, that, to me, is a good thing and, since I have not been tested and have no idea if I am asymptomatic, I can at least return the courtesy of wearing a mask in public.
