Today as we enjoy our holiday with barbecues and various fun activities, lets not forget the true meaning of MEMORIAL DAY. Lets always remember and give our gratitude to the brave military men and women who gave their lives in service to our great country.
As a retired USAF combat veteran having served 22yrs. including 4 tours in Vietnam ( 1968, 69, and 70 ) I have seen my share of devotion to duty, heroism and sacrifice. On this day I remember 2 uncles killed in WW 2, one of my childhood best friends KIA in Vietnam, and most of all my fellow aircrew members who made the ultimate sacrifice in those dark skies over Vietnam.
