A response:
The samples were plain; no inlays or hot stamp.
(Don't remember who bought the better examples, and the others were returned to the seller)
Each of the 1/8" inserts which were intended to be round, were not set evenly (as though a field try in working in the composition), though good enough as examples, I guess.
Some chips had only one insert, while the others had up to four, of which some were sloppy; where the composition ran further into the chip as well as along the edge.
All insert colors were one per chip, though not sure of the colors except for the red.

...and, since most were approx ³/³² to ⅛ inch, I assume the plan was for the smaller.
