The last thing a casino wants to do is scare a customer. They will do what little they can and do it as inexpensively as they can within guidelines to practice safety.
Referring to the customers not being required to wear masks as outlined by the governor last week wasn't pulled out of the thin air... Housekeeping, janitors, casino and all hotel employees are not walking around with a plastic shield.
The casual use of the facemask is not new. Asian cultures have practiced the measure for generations and explained it to the world why they wear one when ill... it is an act of courtisy; not to spread their germs... The same reason why a surgeon wears one while performing open heart surgery, so he does not infect an open body with his germs... and not to prevent him from heart disease... Though we may not know much about this virus at this point; we do know how not to spread one's mucus and saliva to others... if we so desire not to.
In the last few months it has slowly been fed to us to accept the huge numbers of death caused by this virus by way of a method thousands of years old, while they failed to even mention the complications of the virus by covering it up with statistics of no value in staying alive. We either accept what is being fed to us, or not.
