Trades are in progress, fun, and exciting!

If you’re not actively trading your extra chips (valuable or not), you’re missing out on some great fun. Mitch Heller (whom I have personally funded a small retirement for via eBay) traded me this beautiful Holiday Queen chip for my $1 Black Orchid, $5 50 Club, and a $5 101 Club, all of which were dups (Of the casino, if not the exact chip) that I had in my collection. And I was able to check another casino off of my own list. Only 194 to go! I have 2 other trades in the works, one of which is for chips I don’t really collect, but the other party can use some of my dups to flesh out their own collection, and I get to have some new stuff (to me), so it’s all good. I also made a sale to a fellow collector. Again, they can use my chips and so far, no one wanted to trade for those, so win win, right? Anyway, it’s been fun receiving want lists and trader lists from people who have not (yet) put theirs on the chipguide. Which reminds me... if you don’t know how to populate your own lists and/or can’t see other members’ lists, it’s because you need to have an account on that site and be logged into it. I’ve taken it upon myself to be chief educator in that regard this week, it seems, so if you need assistance, I’ll be glad to give you some pointers. I would LOVE to see everyone on this forum populate (or update) their own wants/traders in the guide. There’s a matchmaker feature in there that lets you use your want list to find out who has chips you’re looking for (and vice versa). That’s how I got started on this recently and I’ve had tons of replies so thank you to all who have checked in with me, even if you didn’t have something I was looking for or vice versa.

My trader list on the guide includes only Nevada $5ers that are the ONLY $5ers for that casino. For a more accurate list of casinos I’m searching for, click the url in my signature below. Hope to hear from you!
