~~~ the post office and was told by both the clerk and supervisor that they are not accepting mail to London. I seriously doubt that I would have waited in line for 45-minutes, Handed them the mail, and took it back home.

Their exact words were "We are not accepting any mail to London."

When I questioned what they told me, they pointed to the notice with today's date. When I asked how long will it be before they do, their response was that they do not know because there is a new notice every day.

When I asked where do I check online in order to know if I can come back in and attempt to mail it again, they said the info is only internal... and they once again pointed to the notice.

They then told me that when they were accepting the mail, it would go into storage for weeks.

All local branches of the PO are closed except this one.

I was told to check back... They do not answer their phone.

Again, I would not have returned home with a package I intended to mail unless the USPS told me they are not accepting any mail to London. 😀

The purpose of the screenshot is because Bob said he did not see UK on the list. Neither did I... They refer to the country as Great Britain, thus the shot.
