Any chance for a virtual convention?

First off, I applaud the decision to cancel this year's convention. As much as it grieves me that I won't get to see everyone (and their chips) this year, I believe it was in the best interests of the CCA membership at large that we take a gap year this year.

I suspect there's more than one pesron out there that has money saved up for the chip convention. Since we can't get together and peruse folks' wares physically that week, is there any chance of having a virtual exhibit hall/bazaar during those days? Have the would-be vendors post up some of their items for sale?

In theory that wouldn't necessarily be different than any other day - people list things for sale here all the time. But since many of us already have the time scheduled off work, we probably have money set aside for chips, and it's not like we have too many other places we can go, why not keep those three days earmarked for nifty chip offerings?

As for the seminars, is live-streaming those a possibility?

For the Splashbar gathering, can that be held on Zoom - a virtual happy hour of sorts?

I realize that none of this would be "the same" as the real thing. Just looking to try and make the best of this unfortunate situation, and maybe fill a few holes in my collection while we're at it.
