I only have 8 pieces of slot glass and they are all Thunderbird so I put forth a little effort as I wanted mine to light up. I just like the way they look with a light. I used ( 1 ) 1"X6"X8' : ( 1 ) 8' Piece of molding, ( 1 ) 6' LED Rope light; and a small piece of plywood to complete each box, & ( 1 ) can black spray paint. The individual boxes are just stacked and not attached to each other. Each box has a light cord out the back that just plugs in. The cost of materials for each box is less than $20.00.
