was even more stupid.
I bought a silver token for a collector around Christmas.
It was shipped by Post.NL with track and trace and an insurrance of 100 EUR.
I followed the package online, it left Holland, cleared customs in Belgium, came in at the local post-office and was returned to sender after 1 second.
I emailed the sender and asked if my adress was OK or not? He showed me the picture and all was OK.
I tried to contact PostNL by every possible way.
The problem was that the sender did not put a return to adress on it. PostNL refussed to help me, "sorry the sender has to do all the communication" was my explanation.
BTW: this is NOT true, I have all the European postal laws from when I got in trouble with the Bpost.
What happened?
Well, the package was put in another plastic bag mentioning that it was an insurred package and they only putted the zip code and the country on it!!!
So it arrived in my postal office and of course they didn't knew what to do with it.
After three months it was found in the section lost mail of PostNL and they shipped it........back to the sender!
He was so kind to ship it back to me and did not charge the secondary shipping costs. Lesson learned, no shipping around Christmas, Black Friday and now.
