I had contacted him a few times about a few chips I was interested in. He said these chips (and other items he has on eBay) are from estates that he represents and would tender my offers to his clients, who inevitably said 'no' to every single offer (even at 90% of low book), which is fine. I've been able to find more affordable (and in some case, better looking) specimens. Maybe when I hit the lottery, I'll make a bulk offer at 99% of book value and clean him out, lol. Gotta feel like I'm getting SOME kind of discount, right?
