These are very collectible not only to history of food but antique, porcelain etc. You would see this in public in an antique store or an auction.
I don’t find it offensive but some might,? not knowing what it represents or knowledge of the history.
It was never meant to be a bad thing or hateful or degrading, just a thing of the times.
I would think even a black historian might want this in a collection.
Bootlegging and hillbilly things could be looked upon by some as an offensive thing of the past but it’s depicted and shown constantly. May not be a pretty or proud part of history but it is just a part that has passed and made better or corrected.
We are a collectible club and I don’t say ok wip out all the swastika’s and other things that represent an unpleasant or absolutely horrifying thing of the past, but use discretion in what and how it is put forth and displayed.
