turned up their noses! "Not one of our Seven Arts!" they said.
Can you figure out where it's from? Took me about an hour of squinting with a magnifying glass to get it.
Hints:
1 - The chip is from California.
2 - The casino is no longer operating under that name, but . . .
3 - The casino building is still there!
4 - The place has a definite "Cowboy" motif, you walk up on some wooden planks to enter the place. Inside, you can find the dealers and even the management attired in casual Western dress.
5 - The chips from the current (renamed/new management) casino also have a "Cowboy" theme to them.
6 - The chip brings to mind another old-time casino in Las Vegas; no connection, though.
7 - I once found a second similar chip - it's round here somewhere, pardner - and it's as worn as the one pictured. As Mr. Warner would say, "Th-th-th-th-at's all, folks!"
