Sounds like we have all been doing the same thing. I have been watching movies and series on Hulu, Amazon, Comcast and Netflix. After a while they all just seem the same.
Kinda funny - I m actually watching the War of the Worlds series on EPIX as I type this. It is free on Comcast for a few weeks. I also watched the last full season of Billions on Showtime which is also free now.
