In Response To: Remembering Gene Trimble ()

I very much enjoyed Gene. Even though he seemed to have a tough demeanor, he almost always would take the time to talk and answer questions or tell a story or two grin . I remember taking my daughter with me to the Palms when she was 11 or 12 and we sat in his office while he was working on the Nelly LE chips. He took the time to walk us both through the process of designing, manufacturing & issuing new chips. A wealth of chip knowledge & history...he sure is missed.
