It was around 1992, after receiving a brown example and one other Panama C&S from a USPC employee when I walked into the ANA Convention and up to the president of the Panama Numismatic Association and telling him "I have two casino chips from your country that nobody has ever seen before." Not only did he agree, so did every Panama coin collector in the room including those from six other countries around the world. I held back a few days and took the highest offer. I doubt any other Panama chips sold at that level, prior. Then along came eBay.

I'm still laughing about the "oversease" thing... Good one. 😀
