I'll guarantee you that it wasn't his idea and he probably moans about it in private so................
It'd be a bit like saying that Rock n roll no 2 was such a great record we can forgive Gary Glitter for anything else he did.
He has never ever done anything good for anybody else unless it benefits him.
Plus it's the least he can do as it's thanks to his playing it down for over a month that it wasn't taken as seriously as it should have been (Mardi Gras for example).
