I should probably compliment you more often as I really enjoy your multi-genre panoramas of old Vegas. I also remember your Westside article and have thought it the best article ever in our Club magazine. I think it's important to reflect on the way it was and not that long ago....overt segregation and discrimination. I also think you represent the best of this hobby. Without history.....chip collecting would be on a par with pog collecting (no offense.)
I never saw that picture of the El Rio. Unless there's a copyright issue it should be added to the header in the ChipGuide. Many casinos in the ChipGuide have no picture. Just like at the convention....it's nice to connect a name with a face.
