Many of the ChipGuide admins have a lot of free time these days and have been processing all of your submissions. The Submission Queue is down to about 10 submissions waiting to be processed. We need more submissions to keep us busy. This is good time to organize your collections. Here are my suggestions:
1) Go through your collection, chip by chip, on the ChipGuide
2) Write the ChipGuide# of your chip on the holder, it will make it easier to identify in the future
3) Use the My Collection feature of the ChipGuide to indicate if the chip is in your collection, on your want list or trade list
4) If you find that you have a chip that is not on the ChipGuide, scan it and submit it
When you are finished, you will be able to see your collection on the ChipGuide from anywhere, using your smart phone or computer. You, and other, will be able to see your Want List and your For Trade List and you can get some trades going. And your collection will be organized.
Here's a tip to make the task easier, use the ChipGuide Query Facility, instead of drilling down from casino to casino. If you collect only $1 chips from Deadwood, South Dakota, make these selections: REGION - US, State - South Dakota, City - Deadwood, Type - Chips - ALL, Denomination - $1. Then press QUERY and you will see only Deadwood $1 chips to add to your collection or other lists. You can do the same for almost every collectible variation.
