Yes same here. I ran into that yesterday. I got my insurance check for the tornado damage (which totaled almost $100K) and wanted to deposit it. Of course they would not do that because it was made out to me and the bank since I used my HELOC to buy my daughters house 5 days before the tornado hit. The teller would not deposit it and I had to deal with the branch manager but they would not let me into the bank. Now they have to send the check to their mortgage department and I have to argue to get any of it from them. I guess no good deed goes unpunished.
