I can make some estimations ( not scientific)
1-Euro chips and jetons and plaques
Some casinos had jetons and plaques, another only chips, another only jetons
Usual values ( not all the casinos have the decimal values, and some don´t have all the values)
0,1 /0,25/0,50/1 /2,5/ 5/10/20/50 /100/ 500 /1000/5000/ 10000 »»» 14 different values
a few casinos have 12,5 and 25 ( only a few)
Now the casinos in France are in the way to eliminate jetons ( lots of them did that)
Around 220 casinos , including those opened and closed after the euro enter in force
Should be
220x14 »» around 3000 for chips and plaques
220x14 x 30%»»» around 1000 for jetons
TOTAL WOULD BE 4000
I have 1500 jetons/chips/ plaques in euros , 500 are jetons ( 30% of the total)
I collect usually until 10 ( 50% of te values)., but have some biger values. Could assume that there are 3000 chips, jetons and plaques
So we could talk around 3500/ 4000 diterent euro jetons / chips and plaques

2- FRANC chips /jetons
I myself have a lot ( not registered on the query facility for now- so I don´know the exact number) , but it is not my main focus. My main focus is Euro units
The biggest and best collection I know has around 4000 franc Jetons/ chips and plaques
Assuming that will be 60% of the total we would assume that there would have around 7000 diferent.
TOTAL would be around 11000 /12000 ( francs and euros)
BUT my Friend these are only fast estimation and speculation. I will work on that.

About catalogues, besides those you refer Elie, Torres, Reynckens, I have two more spanish catalogues ( let me look for and will let you know). Don´t know much more than that
About collectors I know only a very few in Spain, Germany and Belgium. And one in Franc
