This will be a trial, mostly because it sounds like a good idea. My customer feedback has been positive from the very beginning. I have done things this way for the last 15 years and it has been profitable to me and widely accepted throughout the Chip Board.
I started out with a single “Set of the Day”. That grew into the “Page of the Day” which was very good for sales and trades for many years. However when I sold my inventory and most of my collection, I adjusted to single items, and single set displays, and again the acceptance has been very positive.
By the 1st of April, I will be posting the chip sales on a daily basis, as well as posting card sales daily. This will be done in the new format as you are now seeing on the CB today. Along with the sales, will be two Harvest Adventures (one from a guest author and one from me) plus my Top Ten Wants on an every now and then frequency.
By now many of you have noticed that most of my chips; sets and singles are discounted each time I show them. In other words I continually drop the prices on most of them each showing.
Around mid July or later the “Jokers” will re-emerge for their second run. Also, look for my “used chip collecting supplies” listings, coming soon.
