I have worked for multiple casinos in multiple states and i am not aware of ANY casino, large or small, that has ever cleaned or washed their chip inventory in any way.

I have asked others who are "lifers" in the casino business and not one person recalls "chip cleaning" ever occurring.

The article about the las vegas business that cleans chips was a shock to me, i had no idea such a business existed.

I am sure this virus will change things, and chip cleaning may very will become routine maintenance for all casinos (i hope).
