MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) exist at nearly all US military facilities, both in the USA as well as overseas. Primary purpose is to provide recreation outlets (clubs, movie theaters, renting sporting equipment at reduce prices) to keep the troops occupied (and hopefully out of trouble) during there off duty time.

The funds for these places does NOT come from the tax payer, but rather from a small surcharge added to items that are purchased at other facilities on base. There ARE some arcade tokens know to exist with the actual name of the base that WERE used in pinball machines.

The chips shown here are the same on both sides with no base name shown - and use is currently unknown, but they ARE on the guide.
