Aruba Locking Down Airport Tomorrow Night

On March 15, 2020 the Government announced a complete “Lockdown” for all international incoming passengers starting mid-night tomorrow (16th to the 17th), ending on the 31st of March 2020.

This lockdown will entail the following:

Residents of Aruba can continue to come in, however a travel advisory shall be instituted for residents basically advising them not to travel.
Cargo will continue to be able to be flown in.
Relief flights will be possible as long as the airline is willing to operate them.
We understand that you may have a lot of questions at this time with regard to certain aspects related to the airport operation as a result of the recent developments. We do advise that you contact your airline directly to verify if your flights to/from Aruba will continue as planned or if there are any changes as effects of the recent measures taken by the GOA.

Additionally you can always visit our website www.airportaruba.com to see live arrival and departure times to see if there are any changes.

We will continue to provide you with the latest developments and updates as they become available. In the meantime, we highly encourage all staff members and passengers to take all the necessary precautions to protect the health of everyone. Tips are shared throughout the airport terminal and via our social media channels.
