This is a difficult note for me to write, but after giving it some thought, I determined it is something I need to do. I'm sure some of our friends who we have lost would have wanted to write a similar note if they knew they were dying soon. I have multiple lung diseases that have been doing damage to my physical well-being. This is a fight that I can't win. I've transitioned from long term healthcare to hospice care this week.

I'm writing this note to say goodbye to some of the best people in the world. I have made many very dear friends through the CCA (CCGTCC), this forum, and club functions like chip shows and the annual convention. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have the circle of friends that I do. I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has made my life better by being my friend!
