I have read all the responses, and for the most part agree with everyone's thinking.
I find it to be unethical for a club member to sell these chips, with no documentation or information about them.
We should hold ourselves to a higher standard than the average, uninformed eBay seller.
We are supposed to be educating new collectors, not sticking them with a chip worth 25 or 50 cents, and charging several dollars for that chip.
This will do nothing but hurt our hobby.
If you have some auction documentation, or harvested the chip yourself from that location, please list that info in the auction.
I collect illegals, and would want nothing more than correct information about their location and history.
I'm done with my rant now.
