More on illegals of Saratoga Springs...
In Response To: Am I missing something? ()

I have posted these images previously, but it may have been pre-Balduini here on TheChipBoard. Doug, I got these at least as far back as 2013, from a coin dealer in Tucson, AZ.

The chips are real, but the accompanying photos are reproductions on plain paper. The 4th image shows a common sticker on the reverse of the frames. I did some research and found out that the City of Saratoga Springs, as a tourist thing, which had oddles of chips, had these made up and were sold to tourists. These are NOT unique, as many were made. They also made smaller ones, featuring individual chips. Maybe you can locate that group, or those who belonged, as I believe they are no longer doing this.

Good luck in your tresearch! Jim
