Though true there were tons upon tons of generics made and distributed all over the country; though the term "anyone" does not apply when folks who have been digging for years and find an inventory (sometimes only a box or less) from a club... I personally know what true finds are within a club or a home that was used for storage... or when a casino group walks on to a property for inspection in the UK and finds something nobody has ever seen before, or when a casino family in Portugal writes me and includes a chip from a private club unknown by anyone or when a well known Casino owner in France writes me telling me what was found in a casino down the road and includes examples... It's called provenance... and, as I pointed out with the codes in my post; they could have been used anywhere, but when someone other than "anyone" says where that generic was found you can pretty much count on it in many cases coming from there (though not made for that club). I realize it is not easy for some newer collectors to grasp this.
