At our meetings, we have visiting with friends, making new friends, and trading and selling of Casino Memorabilia, starting at 6 pm and resumes following the meeting. You are invited to attend both, the Meeting and Trading Sessions.
Early Bird Auction
At our meetings, the Early Bird Auction begins at 6:45 pm, followed by our Guest Speaker, the Club's brief, Business Meeting, a 50/50 cash, and then prizes, Raffle . You can see the list of auction items (and scans) in this message. In the event you are not able to make it in person, you are welcome to email Jim Follis at jim@gamingore.com with your highest proxy bid(s). Just include your CCA or SNCCC membership number and which Lot(s) you want to bid on. For the Live Auction, payment for winning bids is due at the end of the auction. If you are an absentee winner, you will receive an Invoice from Jim. You may bring any items for future auctions with you. Any form of Casino Memorabilia is welcome. The Club takes a 20% seller’s fee unless you opt to donate all proceeds to the Club.
Guest Speaker
Every Month we feature a Guest Speaker, generally from the Gaming Industry. After a short presentation, our members and guests, are allowed to ask questions and interact with our speakers. This month's Guest Speaker is Mr. Ralph Delligatti, Las Vegas resident since 1958 (having moved from Corona, Queens, New York). He has been a casino employee all those years and is an author of his personal recollections in the gaming industry, entitled, "The Last Casino". Mr. Delligatti will have copies of his book For Sale, both before and after his talk, and will be happy to autograph them.
Raffle 50/50
There will be a 50/50 Raffle for cash and then prizes, which is quite fun! We have some great prizes that have been donated by our membership as well as from local vendors.
If you are not yet a member of the SNCCC, or your membership has lapsed, I invite you to join the SNCCC. An annual membership is only $12.00, payable at the door, or during the course of our meeting. You are, of course, Welcomed as a guest, to see what we’re all about and, you can bring your friends as well!!!!!!!!!!
Our 'Club Business' portion of the meetings are short, which gives you lots of time to socialize and gain knowledge about whatever interests you with casino memorabilia.
