It's real name was the Country Inn. Yes, it was one of my favorite restaurants also. The waitresses dressed in old time country dress.
They never took reservations which made it difficult to get in on holidays. The turkey and related soup were outstanding.
The owner passed on and his two sons did not operate the restaurant like their father. They messed with a good thing and made several changes
that did not improve operations.They expanded and opened another Country Inn on Rainbow near Oakey Blvd that failed.
Today the Country Inn is just a memory but I also miss it.
