than to get some uninformed "merchants" to accept reality about their wares. I have given up on "friendly" messages and conversations with sellers. Like the little old lady at the Pasadena City College Swap Meet who was certain that her old Las Vegas casino tokens were worth a fortune because "those are made of silver and those, of gold!" I tried explaining that her common tokens were of brass, just coated with silvery and golden material but she would have none of it, as I was obviously "cheating" her to get an advantage.
If the eBay seller who's getting your goat is a member of CCA (which of course I very seriously doubt), you can try reporting her to the club officials. But it's a familiar story: honest sellers are reasonable, and/or take advice proffered by those with more knowledge of the hobby; and dishonest people - well, they go their own ways.
