Archie, I agree... I recently rented a car in Las Vegas for 3 days (January 29-February 1)... $76 total + $14 to top off the gas tank... stayed at a property that had no parking fee, so my total cost of transportation was $90... during those 3 days I made more than a dozen separate drives around town and put about 110 miles on the odometer... I can't imagine what the cost of that travel would have been using taxis or even Uber/Lyft - but certainly more than $90.
