~~~ networking has most always been the method that produced the best results... especially with this C&S series which, is one of the reasons why there have been suggestions that the series was never used on the game (hard for me to believe).
When I found a box of CAL-NEVA Roulettes and a box of the $1 chips (quantities are archived here) along with only one $25 chip, I was told that they were never used in the casino and the reason was because they were new and unused along with the fact too many people were looking for them for many years without results and when there were finds (via networking) consisting of several $1 and $25 chips, there was a drilled roulette or two in some of those finds; drilled meaning the two small mounting holes that USPC used in order to affixe them to carton pages. Some had also pointed out that there were two other colors known in some finds that were all known drilled, only -- a pink and a brown, of which neither color were in my find.
If true or not... that the series was never in play, I have no way of knowing for sure... though I do know networking does produce results in locating the ultra-rare, anywhere.
