Don't miss the spectacular fried. fresh catfish at Fitzgerald's if you can get a shuttle. You can get it as filet pieces or whole catfish. They also have the traditional southern dishes that go with it...like collard greens, turnips, and especially great-tasting hush-puppies. Years ago, the Horseshoe featured a Paula Dean Restaurant that had some real "home-style" tasting dishes and pies.
Other than that, things are a little slow around Tunica town as many have closed or about to close. Roadhouse was the recent closure.
