Yes I know I can buy euros over there but last time my "no extra fee" debit card was OK except the ATM where I got the euros from had a bad exchange rate plus a large fee that they forgot to mention before hitting the "buy" button. It is not really a big deal if you are spending $10K on a trip to waste another $20 on fees.
