Watching a few episodes today of the Gilligan's Island Marathon on Me TV today brought to mind an interesting situation a few years back. I believe that it was around 2018 after the chip convention when I had a Thunderbird personal chip up for sale on ebay. A person had sent me a message asking for a discount on the chip. Not uncommon, but when she told me who she was I was surprised and never made the connection with the name of the person on the chip before. She proceeded to tell me her name was Dawn Wells and that was her father that worked at the Thunderbird Hotel / Casino who's name was on the chip. So being a gentleman that I am, I gave her a discount and she bought the chip. I had had invited her to come to the next chip show in LAS VEGAS but never got a response. Unfortunately Dawn passed away January 2021...... RIP Mary Ann.
