Worn example; die-cut metal inlay (not over-lay)

Though the surface is worn from years of use, the embedded (reverse) is the same embossed texture as the face in the example of this chip in its original state of preservation. Some inlays were embossed on one side, only (maybe from a different run or manufacturer).

Worn on both sides.

Preserved... and the inlay reverse is the same on some pieces examined.
