Eric, I started out collecting the older large crown mold chips. Each has a bit of history already attached is why. Just enjoy getting them yet to this day. Also I enjoy collecting the misc casino silver tokens as my background is in coin collecting so silver just comes natural for me. If you happen to have any casino silver it would be fun to show it off. Examples of both what I like are below.

As the old saying goes, do your research and read the book before you jump in and just start buying. As was mentioned, find an area you like and "slowly" get into it. Like all hobbies, you may change as you get more into the casino area. Loads of fun and great people here to answer any questions you have, just ask away.
