My memories of the Boardwalk Regency Casino

I was going through my box of goodies I came across some of my memories I opened the boardwalk Regency Casino I remember governor Brendan Byrne on the boardwalk cutting the ribbon with Ann Margaret ...They remodeled the Howard Johnson’s quickly so they could open up to compete with Resorts International...I worked in the Baccarat Room ... And I remember Sammy Davis Jr. and Flip Wilson who both performed in the Cabaret theater ... they would come into the pit and play around great memories ...For the hotel brochures etc. they made employees from the baccarat pit to act as models we didn’t get paid but we got some great meals and drinks in the waterworks lounge there I am at the bar posing as a customer .... If you remember back then we were very short of help and everyone had to work long hours seven at night till six in the morning on weekends was the norm .... If you have any stories or memories from this casino that grew into Caesars please ... post them along with any other pictures you may have thanks for reading ....Rich
