HOTEL CASINO PARK and CASINO DA MADEIRA
The land where the Hotel and Casino complex is built, had been a group of several farms.
In 1907, the “CASINO PAVÃO (PEACOCK CASINO)” and the Stranger`s Club opened at Quinta Pavão.

In 1936 the Casino da Madeira opens at Quinta Vigia.


In 1939 the concession of gambling was suspended, which only restarted in 1958 at Casino da Madeira in one of the buildings of Quinta Vigia, rehabilitated.

.The current Casino, according to Oscar Niemeyer's project, was inaugurated on August 1, 1979.
