The "history" of the casino is very interesting; yet nobody has figured out why the unusual... and there has got to be a reason... even if (recorded) history is not as accurate as it appears... and what is unusual has nothing to do with the core (wood) fabrication nor anything mentioned here.

Any ideas why.........? (Nothing tricky here 😀) And may involve American history.

This was found in Paris, 25+ years ago by a shopowner who sent it to me as a gift.
